Alfa Laval, a leading global provider of solutions to heat transfer, separation and fluid handling, will reinforce efforts to improve its nationwide service network in China.
The network will consist of seven service outlets covering different parts of the country, including two new outlets set up this year in Chengdu, Sichuan province and Hong Kong, said Jan Debruyn, president of Alfa Laval (Shanghai) Technologies Co Ltd, on Tuesday.
A new outlet is expected to open in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province next year, he added.
"Our purpose is to be close to our customers to provide timely services," he said.
China, he said, has become a key part of its business. Sales reached 3 billion yuan ($488 million) last year to account for 11 percent of its global total.
"Business in China is showing a good and healthy tendency, and it has great potential," he said.
