Zhujiajian is the fifth biggest island in Zhoushan archipelago with total area of 72 square kilometers. The island is on the list of National Scenic Area, also a member of Tourism Golden Delta of Putuo District.
It is convenient for tourists to travel in Zhujiajian, since transportations to that island have become multiple. The Mount Putuo Airport in northwest part of Zhujiajian has more than 10 air lines linking the island with cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Xiamen, Jinjiang, etc. The yachts can transport tourists from Mount Putuo (lies 1.35 sea miles north from Zhujiajian) to Zhujiajian in 5 minutes. Driving through a cross-sea bridge connecting Zhujiajian and Shenjiamen, a fishing port 1 kilometers west from Zhujiajian, tourists from mainland can directly enter the island without ferrying.
